Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany has called out the Biden administration’s “blatant hypocrisy” and blasted Jen Psaki for not crediting Donald Trump for the vaccine. The White House has been under fire for not characterising the Texas Democrats trip to Washington, DC a “super-spreader” event after at least six Democratic legislators tested positive for COVID-19. Mask-less Democrats shared pictures of themselves on private jets as they travelled to Washington in an effort to block a Republican voting bill. Republicans have branded the trip a “super-spreader” and called on White House officials to condemn the event. The Fox News contributor said it was “interesting” Psaki did not call out her own party when there was a “federal mask mandate in place”. Ms Psaki denied the event was a “super-spreader” and defended the individuals on the plane who she believes had been vaccinated. Ms McEnany told Fox News the Biden administration owed credit to the former president because it was “the Trump vaccine”.
