Sky News contributor Caleb Bond says the Palaszczuk government has really “set an example for inhumanity” with their COVID border policies. The remarks come amid The Gold Coast Bulletin reports GC Mayor Tom Tate has “urged” state leaders of NSW and QLD to “better plan” for a hard border closure between the states. “Queensland has really set an example for inhumanity,” Mr Bond told Sky News host Peter Gleeson. “Particularly in terms of allowing people to visit dying relatives and whatever that I wouldn’t be in the least bit surprised if overnight they instituted border restrictions and said if you were in Tweed Heads you can’t go to the Gold Coast anymore. “And shame on the Queensland government if it does that because it does not make sense.”
