In an interview on Friday night, Mr Trump also said that it would be “interesting” if he ran for the House in the 2022 midterms as it was suggested he could replace House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and impeach US President Joe Biden.
It came after his daughter-in-law Lara Trump insisted he will get four more years and said his team still has “plenty of time” to challenge the 2020 election results.
“Together, we are going to defend our freedoms, we are going to stand up for our values, and we are going to take back our country!” his speech continues.
Mr Trump was expected to take aim at President Joe Biden, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, among others.
He also repeated his unsubstantiated claims that the 2020 Presidential election was stolen from him.
His insistence on his theories about voter fraud caused a divide in the Republican party following the attacks on the Capitol, with former Vice President Mike Pence saying the two will never see “eye to eye.”
